The third quarter of 2021 saw significant activity among the top Food and Drink apps in Brazil, with varying trends in downloads and active users across these popular platforms. Below, we delve into the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

iFood: pedir delivery em casa experienced consistent weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 421K in the week of September 20. Active users fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter strong, increasing from around 11.2M at the beginning of July to 11.3M by the end of September.

Zé Delivery de Bebidas saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, with a high of about 172K in the week of September 20. Active users also showed growth, rising from around 716K at the start of July to approximately 783K by mid-September, before slightly declining to 719K at the end of the quarter.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery had a steady weekly download rate, peaking at around 153K in mid-September. Active users saw a slight dip mid-quarter but recovered to finish at approximately 1.29M, close to where they started at 1.28M.

99 Food – Food Delivery had a stable download performance, with a notable increase to around 101K in mid-September. Active users showed a slight upward trend, growing from around 599K at the beginning of July to about 655K by mid-September, ending the quarter at approximately 640K.

Finally, Burger King Brasil saw weekly downloads peak at about 111K in early September. Active users increased from around 521K at the end of June to a peak of about 608K in early September, before decreasing slightly to approximately 545K by the end of the quarter.
